Accommodation & Travel

Please let us know your accommodation and travel needs by Wednesday 30 October at the latest.

For staff needing hotels, you’ll be placed in the nearest accommodation possible but please note this may be a 10-15 minute walk from the venues. If you would usually travel by East Coast mainline, please see the note below.

Tube and bus journeys to and from the venues can be reimbursed if you have a receipt – please buy a paper ticket where possible as the TfL website which allows you to get receipts for contactless payments has been down for some time now because of a hack.

East Coast Mainline

There are no trains to or from London King’s Cross on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December. This is due to engineering as part of the East Coast Digital Programme. LNER trains will start and end at St Neots with rail replacement buses between St Neots and Bedford to connect with trains to London St Pancras.

If you would like to travel at the weekend, you may prefer to use the West Coast mainline instead (e.g. from Glasgow), or as a last resort a domestic flight – though our policy is to avoid these wherever possible.
