Baker Richards Launches Second Year of Successful Earned Income Programme
Following the success of the inaugural programme in 2024, Baker Richards are bringing back Uplift Earned Income for a second year, responding to growing demand for innovative approaches to financial sustainability across the arts, cultural and heritage sectors.
This specialist programme, commissioned by Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy and funded by Arts Council England, will again equip cultural organisations with strategic insights and practical tools to increase earned income and create sustainable financial models that align with their artistic missions.
Following strong positive feedback from last year’s participants, we’ve refined the programme to address the increasingly challenging funding landscape facing arts and cultural organisations today.
“What an inspiring and engaging two days. So wonderful to be guided by experienced consultants from the sector. Great balance of theory mixed with practical tips and real life case studies to cascade back into your organisation.” (Uplift Participant, 2024)
“What an inspiration, I walked away ready to write some real tangible strategies for the future of our cultural venues.”
“This is an incredibly rich course. It offers invaluable insights for producers and venues (and allowed us to get under each other’s commercial skins!)”
The programme combines our sector-specific expertise with proven commercial strategies delivered through a blend of online learning and an immersive two-day residential at Warwick on 8-9 May 2025.
Participants will develop skills in creating measurable earned income strategies, identifying growth opportunities, implementing innovative planning approaches, and overcoming common barriers to change. The residential component also offers valuable peer-to-peer knowledge exchange and networking opportunities.
For cultural organisations looking to plug funding gaps or grow earned income to match future ambitions, Uplift Earned Income offers both strategic insights and practical tools for immediate implementation.
