Debbie Richards is the co-founder of Baker Richards and has overseen the company’s evolution and growth. As a consultant, Debbie’s work includes consultative studies, business planning and primary research, but she specialises in helping arts organisations to realise their financial potential and has a proven track record in delivering increases in earned income for clients. Her extensive consulting experience includes work in North America, Australasia and Europe, as well as in the UK.
More recently, Debbie has been pursuing her interest in consumer psychology and behavioural economics, working with organisations to apply the theory and principles to their marketing and pricing.
Debbie has been invited to speak on pricing, marketing and behavioural economics in the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, and across Europe. She served four years as a Board member of the UK Arts Marketing Association.
Prior to her consulting career, Debbie led the marketing for a mid-scale touring theatre company, headed up the marketing department of a performing arts centre and served as Producer at the site-specific Creation Theatre Company. Her honours degree is in English Language & Literature from the University of Oxford.
Debbie is an avid reader and a passionate supporter of the performing arts.
