The workshop is devised to help arts organisations gain a better understanding of pricing from theoretical and practical viewpoints. It is appropriate for large and medium organisations.
Topics to be addressed include: an introduction to pricing theory, the pricing toolbox, discounting and revenue management. Also explored is the new science of behavioural economics, offering an insight into consumer psychology and how an effective pricing strategy responds to the irrational way in which customers make decisions. At the end of the day attendees will have a better understanding of how to approach pricing.
